Beat the Odds! Increase Your Chances of Business Success
According to the SBA, only 20% of all new start up companies that open will be in business in 5 years. How can you beat those odds? By becoming a tenant in the Renaissance Small Business Incubator. Based on national studies, small businesses that join a small incubator increase their success rates to over 80 percent!

Highlights of Renaissance’s Incubator include:
  • Monthly consulting with management, marketing and finance experts
  • Specific goal-setting and measurements to help tenants design and implement solutions for all their business issues
  • A community of other small business owners to reduce isolation
  • Furnished offices, conference and meeting rooms, copier/fax and wireless technology
  • Parking is available in the building
Incubator Orientations happen every Tuesday at 5:30pm. For more information, contact Paul Terry at 415-348-6225 or send an e-mail to paul@rencenter.org

Graduate Success
Renona Wesley in action
Renona began her business with her eyes wide open (and her scissors sharp!). Taking what she’d learned from Renaissance’s Business Planning Class, Renona opened her beauty salon – Alluring Styles – in the heart of the Bayview in 2003. “Renaissance gave me the confidence and skills I needed to push forward and make my dreams a reality,” says Wesley.

What’s next for this star performer? Wesley hopes to open a hair academy where aspiring stylists and artists can be trained and helped along with their career goals. After that, she also wants to consider having a chain of salons. Visit Alluring Styles at 4614 3rd Street, San Francisco; 415-648-6200.
