Renaissance

Creative Core Design is a graphic design collaborative consisting of three principals: Dan Arcos, Martin Douglass, and Mike Lenhart, who cumulatively have over 50 years design experience! Creative Core Design was launched after Mike Lenhart, a Renaissance graduate, became ill; it was becoming increasingly more difficult for him to manage his business and take care of his health needs.  In working with Mike, Renaissance recommended that he seek out the Positive Resource Center, an advocacy group for people living with HIV/AIDS.  Mike did, and through PRC he was able to connect with other Graphic Designers living with similar health issues.   With time, effort, and a good deal of personal investment, Creative Core Design was born. 

Located in the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center Business Incubator, Creative Core Design gives its principals, and extended membership the ability to continue their work in the field of graphic design and still maintain their health.  The freedom of collaborating with other artists gives the Creative Core Design team the ability to operate their business and at the same time not sacrifice their health; this collaborative mentality empowers the team to continue work in a field they love. 

Creative Core Design is building an impressive client base including such clients as: Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, The Castro Street Fair, The Curry Senior Center, The Mission Neighborhood Health Center, and 2005 Small Business Administration Finance Advocate of the Year award recipient Gwendolyn Wright.

The Creative Core Design team is dedicated to serving their community, and working on the projects they love.  Working together has allowed them the freedom they need to take care of themselves and continue working in their field of expertise.  Each principal brings his own skills to the project, and with each other they have found a supportive network that is going to allow Creative Core Design to keep growing.
