Legal Services for Entrepreneurs (LSE)
Assists low-income people interested in starting or expanding small, for-profit businesses. LSE also provides legal services to certain businesses that invest directly in economically distressed neighborhoods.
Legal Advice and Referral Clinic (LARC)
This monthly legal advice and referral clinic is presented free by the Bar Association of San Francisco and held in both downtown San Francisco and Bay View/Hunter’s Point. Lawyers present have experience in a variety of fields including business law.
SCORE
Provides free and confidential legal advice and counseling to small business owners. They have chapters in Silicon Valley, San Francisco, the North Bay, East Bay and Santa Cruz.
California Lawyers for the Arts
Low-cost legal consulting for artists and those in the art community who need advice with issues including: copyrights, contract drafting, organizational tax, etc.
