Small Business AdministrationThe Women's Business Center, a partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), provides business training, financing assistance, technology training and support strategies essential to the successful growth of new and emerging women entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area. For more information, go to www.onlinewbc.gov.

Current trends show that it makes sound economic sense for every community to support the growth of women owned businesses. Women are starting businesses at twice the rate of men, minority women-owned businesses are starting at three times the rate of every other group and women own 40% of all businesses in the United States.

Women entrepreneurs are served through our Training Program, Business Incubator, Graduate Network, Financing Resource Center, and through programs specifically designed for women including:

  • Day-Time Business Planning Class
  • Women & Company Microenterprise BOOST Program
  • Launch Your Business Workshops
  • Successful Women in Business Speaker Series
  • Technology Training
  • Access to Markets and Procurement Assistance
