Sharon has served as CEO of Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center for 23 years. Under her leadership, Renaissance has grown into a renowned Bay Area regional organization, establishing five Centers in South of Market and Bayview Hunters Point in San Francisco, Richmond, South San Francisco, and East Palo Alto. Sharon has been pivotal in introducing vital new programming, including Spanish-language, women-focused, and industry-specific training initiatives. Her guidance has been instrumental in assisting clients in securing substantial capital exceeding $75 million. She serves on the Steering Committee of the CA Network of Women’s Business Center.

Doug, a South Bay native, joined Renaissance in 2021 as an experienced leader in accounting and finance. With over 30 years of industry experience, including 15 years in the nonprofit sector, he possesses a deep understanding of the financial intricacies that drive organizational success. In his role, Doug is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, reporting, budgeting, and finance. His academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management, as well as a master’s degree in finance and accounting.

Lisa has overseen the management and strategic direction of Renaissance’s finance, operations, and human resources since 2004, and served as Renaissance’s Development Director from 2000 – 2004. Lisa brings passion and expertise to her leadership, cultivating collaborations with board members, community partners and experts, to support Renaissance’s growth and expansion. Beyond her work at Renaissance, Lisa sits on the Board of the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District (YBCBD), having chaired the board from 2021-2024. Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in small business management and a master’s in international economic development.

Lucero is the Director of the Renaissance Women’s Business Center, where she has been a valuable member of the organization for over 10 years. Previously, she served as the Program Manager for Renaissance East Bay, focusing on serving Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Lucero has developed expertise in designing and implementing programs for women and underserved communities, leveraging her bilingual and bicultural background to provide unique perspectives and support to Spanish-speaking entrepreneurs.

Aaron began his career as a financial analyst, spent several years as a management consultant, and eventually transitioned into nonprofit economic development work. At Urban Solutions, he managed facade and tenant improvement projects as part of the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency’s revitalization efforts. Aaron has owned and successfully sold multiple small businesses. He has also served on the boards of several Bay Area nonprofits, actively contributing to community development and economic empowerment. Aaron holds a BA in finance and international business from Georgetown University.

Since joining Renaissance in 2013, Tim has played a substantial role in overseeing the organization’s services and growth across the Peninsula, South Bay, and Unincorporated Alameda County. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in establishing East Palo Alto’s inaugural small business incubator and the successful expansion of Renaissance’s operations into new locales such as San Jose and Hayward. Drawing from his personal background growing up in East Palo Alto, Tim actively contributes his expertise to multiple boards, including the Downtown Street, Leadership CORPS San Mateo County, and Working Solutions Advisory Boards. Tim is also the Lead Pastor of New Hope Christian Fellowship Church in Hayward, CA.

Originally from a rural community in Mexico, Razón has spent most of her life in the San Francisco Bay Area. Nora graduated from San Francisco State University in 2008 with a B.A. in Ethnic Studies and Sociology and is a proud alumnus of the Ravenswood City School District, located in East Palo Alto. Nora Razón has worked in philanthropic, education, health, economic development, and community-organizing roles. Throughout her career, Nora has sought opportunities to develop practices and programs that deeply and authentically engage adults and young people in the change they envision for their schools, organizations, families, and their community.

Dan is a dynamic leader deeply committed to social equity. His career spans impactful roles in both the non-profit and government sectors. As Development Director at First Graduate and Daly City Youth Health Center, and a Grant Writer at LifeMoves, he has been a pivotal advocate for the underserved. In the government sector, he served as a Director at Treasure Island Job Corps, transforming the lives of low-income youth through education and job skills training. Beyond these roles, Daniel’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish and successfully run a small business in San Francisco for over five years.
In the San Francisco community, Daniel’s influence is palpable. He has served on the boards of Hospitality House and SteppingStone Health, volunteered with Inner City Youth, and nurtured young minds as a basketball coach at Live Oak School. He holds a BA from the University of California at San Diego and an MPA from the University of Southern California, where he was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship.

Marcus has served as the San Francisco Bayview Director since 2011. He has successfully launched and led impactful initiatives such as Bayview Women entrepreneurship and empowerment program and Biz Fit, which supports merchants along the 3rd Street Corridor. Furthermore, Marcus’s leadership was pivotal in establishing the Business Assistance Center– a dynamic workspace for 16 thriving construction, distribution, and repair businesses. Marcus was born and raised in the Bayview and draws on his deep roots in the community to provide invaluable local guidance and drive the Center’s success. He serves on the Board of the Bayview Merchants Association.
