Session 1 – Considerations for Your Website
Effective pre-planning is key to a successful website build or refresh. In this session, you will learn what things you should consider, like which platform to use and what content you’ll need, and how to rate those considerations to ensure what’s most important to you and your potential clients is rising to the top.
Homework: Create your sitemap/outline for your website with notes about what section and page should have on it.

Krystlyn Giedt

 

Krystlyn has a degree in Telecommunications, Multimedia & Applied Computing with an emphasis in Design & 3D Animation from CSU Monterey Bay. Krystlyn worked at a website development firm during college where she learned both graphic design and website coding in real-world circumstances with clients. In 2010 Krystlyn branched off into her own marketing and design company where she continued to help small business reach their goals and look good doing it! During that time she taught the Adobe Creative Suite at a business school in Salinas, CA. Krystlyn’s 20 years of design experience allows her to teach others the practical tips and tricks to managing their own brands as economically and user-friendly as possible.

We’re thrilled to have you! All clients must register for classes via your client portal account. Here’s how you can do it:

Already a Renaissance Client?

  1. Log in to your client portal
  2. Go to the Calendar: Once logged in, navigate to the Calendar tab at your portal’s top left corner.
  3. Select & Enroll: Find your desired class, click on Enroll, answer the brief questions, and hit Submit.

New to the Renaissance Community?

  1. Get started by filling out a client interest form and creating your client portal.
  2. Orientation: Sign up for an orientation session and meet with a Renaissance team member who will work with you to assess your business needs.
  3. Post-Orientation Steps: Log into your new client portal after completing the orientation. Then, follow the steps outlined under “Already a Renaissance Client” to register for classes.
