Week 1: Introduction to Procurement Marketing
- Overview of procurement marketing: Definition, importance, and its role in the supply chain.
- Understanding the relationship between procurement and marketing functions.
- Key concepts: strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supplier relationships.
Week 2: Procurement Strategies for Marketing
- Identifying procurement needs in marketing: goods, services, and technology.
- Procurement processes and methodologies applicable to marketing departments.
- Case studies and examples illustrating successful procurement strategies in marketing.
Week 3: Market Analysis and Supplier Selection
- Conducting market analysis for marketing procurement: assessing trends, competitors, and supplier capabilities.
- Supplier evaluation criteria and selection methodologies specific to marketing needs.
- Best practices in negotiating contracts and agreements with marketing vendors.

Dr. Dene’ Starks-McGee is the CEO of DJS Business Solutions and loves helping people start, grow, and elevate their business. Dene’ brings over 15 years of business experience. She has spent the majority of her career in Business Management & Program Development as well as Organizational Training, gaining experiences in areas of technical assistance, workshop presenting, and business consulting. While business management and development is her primary function by day, Dene’ also enjoys spending time with her family, painting, publishing journals, and traveling.
