We offer financial assistance for our classes through scholarships. Scholarships range from 10-50% off of class tuition, based on your income and your county of residence. In order to be considered for a scholarship, you will need to provide proof of household income and a completed income verification form at least two weeks before a class starts. Learn more about eligibility and requirements on our Scholarships below or email with any questions.


Bayview Women

This intensive 12-week program provides training, mentorship, peer support and networking to aspiring women entrepreneurs in the Bayview Hunters Point community, including the Alice Griffith and Hunters View public housing facilities.  Women who complete the program are eligible to participate in a pitch contest, “RenTank,” for a cash prize to help launch their businesses. Biz Fit

Do you own a small business on 3rd Street in Bayview or Leland Avenue in Visitacion Valley? If so, you may be eligible to participate in a business strengthening program designed to facilitate business growth and sustainability. An important feature of the program is the development of an Individual Development Plan (IDP), which is used to identify key resources and address specific business needs. Contractors Initiative

Our Contractors Initiative supports local small businesses in the construction sector to build their business capacities, technical skills and supportive networks to compete more effectively in the local economy. We help local contractors secure business certifications, receive industry specific training, and mentorship from prime contractors to accelerate the growth of their businesses net profits. Financing Resource Center

The Financing Resource Center (FRC) is also headquartered at Renaissance SoMa. If you need help with getting the right small business loan to start, grow or expand your business please sign up for a consultation with our expert finance consultant. All FRC services are free.
