Our Renaissance Bayview team serves SF’s Bayview Hunters Point, Visitacion Valley, Lower Fillmore, and Hope SF communities.
Renaissance’s Black Business Initiative is an empowerment program dedicated to recognizing and championing Black owned established and aspiring small businesses. We help you build your skills and connect with meaningful opportunities and an engaged dynamic community of entrepreneurs.
E-scale prep – e-Scale prep is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs establish a robust infrastructure, laying the groundwork for a solid business foundation. This program is a precursor to the e-Scale Growth initiative, designed to elevate your business to new heights.
E-scale growth – e-Scale growth utilizes a cohort approach, working with select high-growth businesses. Our Bayview Renaissance team evaluates each business, devises a tailored Individual Development Plan (IDP), and sets impactful goals. We meet monthly, connecting participants with resources and experts to achieve their objectives.
Our Contractors Initiative supports local small construction businesses. Through targeted training, mentorship, and networking, we enhance your technical skills and business capacities, ensuring your ability to confidently compete in the local market and secure vital contracts.
Our business incubator provides professional, affordable offices and cubicles, meeting rooms, networking opportunities, and business support services to help the launch and growth of businesses in Bayview Hunters Point.
This program actively champions businesses in the 3rd Street and Lower Fillmore Corridors. We provide tailored one-to-one consulting, hands-on technical assistance, and interactive workshops to strengthen your business from all angles. Dive deep into digital marketing, embrace new technology, and explore expansive avenues like e-commerce and catering. Plus, for emerging entrepreneurs, we guide you in securing prime commercial spaces within these vital corridors, ensuring your business is positioned for success.
Over the span of this four week course, participants will create a Business Model Canvas– a powerful tool that assists you in constructing their mission and vision, refining their business strategy, and assessing the feasibility of their product or service.
All women, including trans and cis women, are welcome to this 12-week entrepreneurship and personal empowerment program that provides training, mentorship, peer support and networking to aspiring women entrepreneurs in the Bayview Hunters Point, Visitacion Valley, Lower Fillmore and Hope SF communities.
Women who complete the program are eligible to participate in a pitch contest, “RenTank,” for a cash prize to help launch their businesses.
Renaissance Bayview works closely with the SF Department of the Environment to register businesses as Green Businesses. Some benefits include access to incentives, expert audits, rebates, cost savings and increased customer attraction. Interested?
